As a general rule, with the exception of frameless shower screens which are usually made from 10mm thick toughened safety glass, all other frameless glass applications require at least 12mm thick toughened safety glass. Some specialised applications such as pool windows & walls require even thicker sizes & sometimes additional properties such as laminating.

Every peice of toughened safety glass used on our frameless glass installations is grade A quality & certified to Australian Standards.

The majority of frameless glass used is clear glass so as to enhance or retain any views & to create a sense of space. Other forms of toughened glass such as tinted, frosted (also known as acid etched), slumped & patterned glass are used to achieve privacy, screening & other effects.
